‘Son of Saul,’ Kierkegaard and the Holocaust -

These are articles that I found about a nanny in Moscow, Russia, who supposedly decapitated the toddler of the family she was working for. The woman claims this was an act of terrorism and also was said to be shouting Allahu Akbar (meaning "God is great"). The last I read, they were going to do psychiatric testing on her to see if she was actually capable of committing the crime, but regardless she should be charged with something for at least parading a child's severed head around.
I found this article/video about how the media can help with suicide. They give information to people who might be having suicidal thoughts. They have a hotline that people can call to talk to someone about these thoughts. The hotline educates people and tries to find the reason why people might be thinking about suicide. They offer support and assess the individual who is calling to try to help.
This article discusses the topic of Anne Frank. Seventy years ago, Anne Frank died of typhus in a Nazi concentration camp. Typhus is an infectious disease caused by lice that breaks out in places with poor hygiene. The researchers believe that Anne Frank died earlier than they thought. They concluded that it is unlikely Anne Frank and her sister survived until March, because witnesses at the camp said that the sisters both had symptoms of typhus before February 7.

This iconic woman died at age 94 because of congestive heart failure. I have always found this first lady to be pretty amazing and was sad to hear of her passing.
Being married to a police officer this is my biggest fear of death. That one day someone will decide to take my husband away from me all because of the job that he does.
This is an article on the accident that occurred earlier today around 4:30 at the 275 Combs-Hehl Bridge. This is a story that happened close to home, I actually drive this bridge to get home, it is scary that could have been anyone. My heart goes out to everyone and their families involved in this 12 car pileup and the people who went into the water and their families as well, I hope they can find more out soon.
